Effects of intermediate temperature sensitization and marine service exposure on the mechanical properties of 5xxx grade aluminum alloys. Testing procedure involves fracture toughness, tension testing, and scanning electron microscopy on as-received H116 tempered materials, previous service sensitized materials, and intermediate temperature furnace sensitized materials.
