The effects of changes in test temperature and annealing treatments on the hardness evolution of Al-based metallic glasses is being determined. Hot microhardness testing is being used to determine the effects of changes in test temperature on the flow behavior, while the evolution of hardness at a given test temperature is also being evaluated and correlated with changes to the structure of the material.
